Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 5.0 to Wife 1.0. I soon noticed that the new program began unexpected child-processes that took up a lot of space and valuable resources.

In addition, Wife 1.0 installed itself into all other programs and now monitors all other system activities. Applications such as BachelorNights 10.3 , PlayBall 5.0 , BeerWithBuddies 7.5, and Outings 3.6 no longer run, crashing the system whenever selected.
I can’t seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting to run my favorite applications. I’m thinking about going back to Girlfriend 5.0 , but the ‘uninstall’ doesn’t work on Wife 1.0 .

This is a very common problem that people complain about.
Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 5.0 to Wife 1.0 , thinking that it is just a Utilities and Entertainment program. Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING!!!
It is also impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to Girlfriend 5.0 . It is impossible to uninstall, or purge the program files from the system once installed. You cannot go back to Girlfriend 5.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed not to allow this. (Look in your Wife 1.0 Manual under Warnings-Alimony-Child Support).
I recommend that you keep Wife1.0 and work on improving the environment. I suggest installing the background application “Yes Dear” to alleviate software augmentation. The best course of action is to enter the command C:\APOLOGIZE because ultimately you will have to give the APOLOGIZE command before the system will return to normal anyway.
Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be very high maintenance. Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs, such as Clean 2.5, Sweep 3.0, Cook 1.5 and DoLaundry 4.2.
However, be very careful how you use these programs. Improper use will cause the system to launch the program NagNag 9.5. Once this happens, the only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional software Dresses 2.1 and Jewellery 5.0.
WARNING: DO NOT, under any circumstances, install SecretaryWithShortSkirt 3.3 . This application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and will cause irreversible damage to the operating system and to your computer as well.
Movie Review: Pirates of the Silicon Valley
Upon receiving this as an Assignment for our class in Operating System, i was excited to watch it before someone else does from my classmates so i eagerly got a copy from our professor. Then i evenly downloaded a subtitle for me to understand this movie clearly because sometimes I’m having a hard time to deal with the fast speaking-English of the Americans.
This movie focuses behind the people where all of the Operating System began from assembly language to Graphic-User-Face. First, the story began to Steve Jobs and his best-friend and co-founder of Apple Steve Wozniak. As I watch it I came to realize that it was not really Steve Jobs who did or merely programmed and created Apple instead is Steve Wozniak. Steve is the only one who presents to people and give inspiring thoughts and talks to evenly market Apple .Problem with Steve Jobs is that he easily lost his temper, and being so rude to the employees. But I’m amazed how Jobs handles situations and what I like about is that he is artistic and having that much optimism. Maybe that proves how Apple progress right now.
On the other hand was Bill Gates along with his friend Steve Ballmer and Paul Allen whose co-founder of Microsoft. In the story, Gates and his companions find hard to thrive in their expertise but as they move along they are luckily got to their way. One big break that comes along is their negotiations with IBM that puts them into big fame making an Operating System or we should say develop a Operating System that give them a big impact in the world of computer.
After buying a OS from a small computer business called Seattle Computer Services for $50,000 only was a worth well pay-off. This thing puts them in fame and be famous in the world of computer and this thing was the DOS or the Disk Operating System. After a successful hit of DOS, Gates along with their company, Microsoft goes to Apple. This plan was not to join apple rather than to copy and steal Apple’s ideas and also to compete with them. Gates plan was successful and Microsoft introduced Windows which was the start and big wealth of the company. Steve Jobs didn’t realize that he was betrayed by Bill Gates but that does not affect their relationship but instead make it stronger. Steve Jobs resigned from Apple and while Bill Gates gain so much wealthness and become the wealthiest person in earth.
After watching this movie I realize that hard-work, patience, perseverance is a virtue that must possess of a successful man. Dream big and always have a goal. This one line that stays on my mind is that Steve Jobs said “Great Artists Copy, Great Artists Steal”. This makes sense along, and as an IT Student I’ll brought this as a motto in life. By the way in accordance to the title I think it was named as “Pirates of the Silicon Valley” because these two great men possess a characteristic of a Pirate. Even like them steal and copy from other ideas. Maybe that’s not a good characteristic but being a Pirate seems to be a good and been badly great for them. Even thou i still idolize this two remarkable persons.
But then you just play it off and pretend you’re swimming.
